XR @ Deakin
The XR @ Deakin Network is a community of practice dedicated to enhancing learning experiences, research, and scholarship through the integration of extended reality (XR) technologies. This network brings together staff from diverse disciplines, fostering a collaborative environment where members can share knowledge, successes, and challenges related to XR in education and research.
- Facilitates the exchange of expertise and innovative practices in XR for teaching and learning.
- Acts as a forum for interdisciplinary collaboration, promoting the advancement of XR across faculties.
- Disseminates information about funding opportunities and supports members in accessing resources for XR initiatives.
XR stands for extended reality which includes augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR), mixed reality (MR) and virtual simulation (VS).
