Explore the new teaching and learning tools guide
There is a broad range of digital tools available to support teaching and learning, and it can sometimes be challenging to understand what they do and how you can use them in your class. The teaching and learning tools guide was created to capture the range of digital tools available for use at Deakin and their applications in teaching and learning.
The project led by the Digital Learning team, investigated how teachers used various resources on digital tools at the University. The guide was developed and further refined to create an interactive web-based resource for teaching and learning teams. The project involved consultation with faculty teaching staff and digital education experts.
Using the guide
The teaching and learning tools guide has three key search functions:- Search by activity: for those who are exploring digital tool options, this navigation allows you to explore through guided choices in relation to teaching and learning activities.
- Search by tool: for those who know what tool they need, but want some extra guidance around functionality and use cases; all supported tools are listed alphabetically.
- Site-wide search functionality: for those who know a specific tool or activity that they need more information on, they can find the tool using the search function.
