Dr Rebecca Lindberg, Dr Georgie Russell and Dr Kristy Bolton were announced the winners of the Excellence and Innovation in Public Health Teaching-Team (Early Career Academics) Award by the Council of Academic Public Health Institutions Australasian (CAPHIA) on Friday, 10 July.

The HSN105 Healthy and Sustainable Food Systems team were thrilled with the award as there was a record number of nominations. They demonstrated teaching approaches that influence, motivate and inspire students to learn through the development of curricula and resources that reflect a command of the field and approaches to assessment and feedback that foster independent learning. Dr Kristy Bolton accepted the award at the CAPHIA Public Health Teaching and Learning Forum on behalf of the team and gave a short presentation about their work.
