Getting Started

We’re all working on pretty tight timelines at the moment. Sometimes we just need to work with what we’ve got so we can spend the time we do have on other tasks, like transitioning our assessments or interactive sessions online. If you have access to previous class recordings, you may be able to reuse these rather than re-recording new ones.

This guide walks you through some common scenarios and how to edit videos.

Note: Class recordings are hosted and edited in Deakin Video (Mediasite). If you are creating new video content using desktop capture, you should use Deakin Air (Kaltura). In this guide we will refer to, and link to help guides for, both platforms, depending on whether you are editing an existing recording or creating a new video.
