Getting Started

Transitioning our teaching online means we need to get creative about how we assess our students’ learning. Luckily there are some great alternatives to in-class tests and exams. A key challenge for many people is ensuring academic integrity while moving assessments online.

Following on from CRADLE’s Ensuring academic integrity and assessment security with redesigned online delivery – Digital Assessments guide, we have put together some suggestions on using video assessments.

Video assessment can be a great way of getting students to demonstrate their learning, and it can give you an opportunity to get to know your students better. Find out more about how video assessment can be used as an alternative to some common assessment types in this guide.
